Quarantine 

A subsidiary of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, Sharjah Quarantine Center is a busy, professional quarantine that serves the ever-growing demand for quarantine services in the United Arab Emirates.

Built as per international specifications, the quarantine barns are secure and offer separate washing areas, paddocks and lunging rings.

The facility is regulated by the UAE Ministry of Environment and Water (UAE MOEW) and follows the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as dictated by the Ministry.

Sharjah Quarantine Center is one of the premier quarantine facilities in UAE, supervised by the UAE MOEW. It is staffed with resident veterinarians and well-trained grooms and staff. It has the benefit of being located next to the multi discipline Sharjah Equine Hospital which provides 24-hour emergency care when needed. 

Sharjah Quarantine Center has experienced quarantine grooms and staff to manage the horses during their stay.

Sharjah Quarantine Center is operational throughout the year with restricted activities during the international events from mid-December to mid-March.

Sharjah Quarantine Center provides the following quarantine requirements:

·       Pre-Export Quarantine

·       European/American Quarantine – Temporary and Permanent.

·       Quarantine during international showjumping events, Arabian horse shows and race meetings.

               We have a total of 62 boxes shared between 6 barns.

·       3 barns of 14 boxes each.

·       2 barns of 6 boxes each.

·       1 barn of 8 boxes.
